Cheer Fees - $625 Regular Season - Early Bird before April 1st is $525

Welcome returning and new families to Darien Swarm Cheer. We believe in encouraging our athletes to fall in love with the sport of Cheerleading in a fun, yet competitive atmosphere, all while learning the basics of sideline cheer, jumps, stunting and tumbling. Our Program has been very successful in our local, state and National Competitions. Swarm Cheer made organization history in 2022 with several 1st and 2nd place wins and all 3 squads qualifying at attending the Pop Warner Cheer and Dance Nationals in Orlando, Florida. With our Mitey Mite team bringing home the 3rd Place National trophy.
Our Sideline Season consists of 8 games (usually 4 home games and 4 away games typically within an hour of Darien) Playoff games are a possibility if our football teams move on.
Practices begin the week of August 1st. Practices are held Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursdays from 6-8pm. Tiny Mites will practice 2 days a week. We practice outside up until Labor Day. At that point we move practices indoors.
ALL competition practices are Mandatory. More information will be provided at our Informational meeting (TBD) and our Parent Meeting at the start of our season.
We compete in 2-3 local competitions with the opportunity to qualify for the Pop Warner Cheer and Dance National Championships in Orlando, Florida held the 1st week of December. Competition Travel is not included in the Registration fee.

Cheer Camp
Darien Swarm Cheer hosts a 2 day camp in June/July Date TBD. More information to come
Mandatory Volunteer Opportunities
Darien Swarm is a Volunteer based organization. From our Board Members, Coaches, to those who run chains on the field and help with our concession stand. We require each Swarm family complete 8 volunteer hours throughout the season. A Volunteer Fee of $150 is required at the time of Uniform handout the 1st or 2nd week of practices. You also have the option to waive the volunteer requirements by buying out your hours for the $150. Once all volunteer hours are completed your money will be returned to you.
Equipment Deposit
There will be a $200 uniform deposit required by check or ACH Form and will be returned when equipment is returned.
Mandatory Fundraising Fee
Darien Swarm Families are asked to participate in our Organization fundraisers. One of the fundraisers is automatically added to your Registration Fee. The fundraising fee is $100.00 Each Family will be given 10 raffle tickets to sell. You can sell them for $10/each or choose to keep them. They will be drawn at our Homecoming Game in the Fall. Additional fundraisers will be announced at the start of our season. Our organization is funded through registration and fundraising. The Fundraising fee is $100 per family.
Special Discounts
$25.00 OFF for Referring a new Friend/Player. Darien Swarm will reimburse all families who refer new families to the organization. Kindly send an email to [email protected] with name of family you referred and we will reimburse $25 of your registration fees.
Refund Policy
No refunds will be issued after August 1st, for any reason(s) other than family relocation greater than 20 miles or medical reasons, with a note from Dr. or Nurse Practitioner.
Refunds give for the reasons listed above are subject to the following: -administration fee of $75 will be deducted from refund due to participant along with the cost of Jersey-Football or Sideline Uniform/Shoes - Cheer
